At what point does luck become skill. Everyone can have a good day racing or an entire weekend where everything clicks. When you put together a streak substantial enough to have people start throwing around words like domination, you are obviously controlling your own destiny.

Kyle LeDuc has put together four wins in a row in the highly competitive Pro-4 class (Unlimited 4 Wheel Drive) in the Lucas Oil Off-road Racing Series to start the 2012 season. That's what the current standings say but you have to go back to last season to get the full picture.

Lake Elsinore, CA April 21-22, 2012. Alumi Craft Unlimited Buggy racers win back-to-back and take three out of the top five spots in rounds 3 and 4 at the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series in Lake Elsinore, Ca. The Unlimited Buggy class was dominated by Alumi Craft racers Mike Porter, Geoffrey Cooley, Larry Job and Cameron Steele. Zac Hunt in his Alumi Craft Limited Buggy took home third place during round 4.

FULLERTON, CA. – (April 24, 2012) Yokohama Tire Corporation-sponsored Cameron Steele won his first Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series event of the year, taking first in the Pro Buggy class at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park in Lake Elsinore, California, April 21-22. Steele claimed victory riding on off-the-shelf Geolandar A/T-S+® tires.

“It was a tough race,” said Steele, the 2010 Pro Buggy champ, “but the Yokohama Geolandars did their job and helped secure the win for the Stronghold Motorsports Monster Energy/Yokohama Pro Buggy. They really handled the course well. Thanks to the team and Yokohama tires for all the help.”

After serving up an epic lesson in racing domination at the opening rounds of Lucas Oil Off Road Racing action at Firebird Raceway only three weeks ago, Team ReadyLIFT® Racing’s Marty and Kyle Hart rolled into the brand new Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park looking to keep the throttle of success pinned wide open. The Lucas Oil crew worked hard over the winter months to build what could be one of the fastest and most exciting tracks of the series. The 1.1 mile dirt course is high speed, high jumping and requires large amounts of talent to navigate it without going home on a wrecker or a bruised ego.

There was standing room only at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park last weekend as people from all over Southern California poured in to watch the stars of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) battle on the all new short course track. The newly constructed track was well-received by fans and racers alike with features such as a high elevation change, table-tops, tight hair pin turns and an infield mogul section. Unfortunately practice was canceled on Saturday, which meant that fan favorite Rob MacCachren and his talented crew were not able to dial in the ROCKSTAR Energy Drink / Makita Power Tools / BFGoodrich Tires truck for the track and conditions.
