You can toss around record winning streaks, number of championships, quantity of wins, track records and qualifying poles to make a point about a lifelong motorsports career, and those definitely stake a claim in the history books. But if you want to find a legend in any sport, you need to see the athlete in action when he thinks no one is watching – those true character moments. Carl Renezeder's name will be in short course history books indefinitely for his accomplishments on the track – there's no doubt about that. But he will be a hero to kids and adults alike for decades to come because of his character, integrity and professionalism outside of the truck.
(May 19th, 2013 – Corona, California) The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series stormed into Lake Elsinore, California with strong gust of hot air and cloudy dark skies for the Rockstar Energy So-Cal Nationals presented by Loanmart. Friday allowed for series contestants to test their fortitude with two practice sessions per class which pretty much set the temperament for Round 5. Lunarpages would lead the off road racing storm with Ryan Beat pushing the #51 ProLite wide open to record the second fastest lap time in Practice 1 and quickest of all in Practice 2.
Driver Brian Deegan (38) will be allowed to utilize a "Substitute Driver" and retain all points earned in the Pro 2 and Pro Lite classes of the May 2013 Lake Elsinore event, Rounds 5 and 6.
Corona, California (May 1st, 2013) – The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series has brought a load of changes to teams and racers for the 2013 season. One transformation was the short course track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway which had recently undergone a major reconfiguration eliminating turns 4 & 5 while improving views for spectators. The result was seriously hot wheel-to-wheel racing action all around. The Hart and Huntington Off Road Team was right in the mix of it, but in the end, one complication and hardship after another prohibited favored results.
LAKE FOREST, CA (May 5, 2013) Not only has eight-time champion, Carl Renezeder, swept the first four rounds of races in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Pro-4 division in 2013, if you go back to the end of 2012, you'll find that he's on a six race winning streak and has won eight out of the last nine races. That's a pretty serious stat. It's all business when he straps the helmet on and pulls the belts tight, but there's a lighter side to Renezeder that friends, family, crew and fans also find endearing.
April 24h, 2013 (Corona, California) - The Hart and Huntington Off Road Team is packed up and headed to Las Vegas for Rounds 3 & 4 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. With the opening season event leaving Premiere Motorsports Group striving for improved results, the trucks have been torn down, rebuilt, and reassembled. Tested twice over, the drivers are feeling like they can race their equipment at top performing capabilities. We can confidently say that we are ready to go out and contend for the podium.
