Reno residents got their first taste of world class short course racing when the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) came to the all-new Wild West Motorsports Park this past weekend, and the facility lived up to its “wild” name. The virgin track surface, massive elevation changes, and widely spaced jumps required a different truck setup than the tighter courses found at most LOORRS venues, but Rob MacCachren and his team performed fine tuning that resulted in a second place qualifying time for Saturday’s Round 11 event. The top four qualifying positions were inverted to keep the Pro2 Unlimited race interesting, which put MacCachren’s ROCKSTAR Energy Drink / Makita Power Tools / BFGoodrich Tires / TRAXXAS truck on the inside of the second row in front of a packed house of cheering motorsports fanatics.

Fresh off the heels of his XGames Best Whip Gold Medal, action sports icon Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg leads the Stronghold Motorsports Supercross.com/Loctite team into battle at the team's home track at legendary Glen Helen Raceway. In the most recent release from Stronghold Productions, the packed house at Glen Helen provides a huge reception for the hometown favorites as Stenberg alongside teammates Matt Cook, Garrett Poelman and Larry Job lit up the night as they soar through their air under the lights in Rounds 9&10 of Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series action.

Bradley Morris put in a dominating performance at rounds 9 and 10 of the Lucas Oil Shortcourse Series held under the lights at Glen Helen in San Bernardino, California. Morris, who competes in three classes including Modified Kart, Limited Buggy and Prolite, took three wins on the weekend and lead every lap of Prolite racing.

Riverside, California (August 8, 2012) - Seven-time supercross champion, Jeremy McGrath ignited the capacity Glen Helen Raceway crowd as he emerged from an epic Pro2 battle with the heavyweights of short course off road racing to earn second place on the podium in Sunday night's main event of Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series action. Not to be outdone, McGrath's Stronghold Motorsports/ Monster Energy teammate and series broadcast analyst, Cameron Steele, recovered from a controversial decision that forced him to race through the ProBuggy field from the back of the pack to bring home the hardware as he fought his way to a tenth round, third place finish. RJ Anderson maintained his command of the ProLite championship standings despite facing his most challenging weekend of the season.
