Ten victories. That is how many wins Rob MacCachren has this season alone. While some off-road race careers have come and gone with less success than this, it is just a single season for the ROCKSTAR Energy Drink / Makita Tools’ driver. Those ten victories give Rob Mac an astounding 199 total career victories coming in to this weekend’s Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) event at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California. The venue is fitting for MacCachren to reach this unrivaled milestone in off-road motorsports. “Last season I broke my left collar bone racing at Glen Helen,” MacCachren recalls. “Instead of bagging the season though I put my MasterCraft race suit back on and drove through the pain.” Rob Mac went on to win the San Felipe Challenge of Champions and two more Lucas races, finishing second in series points in both the SCORE International desert race series and LOORRS short course racing.
