The LOORS Teams and drivers rolled into the Reno area for the first time this past weekend to race at the new Wild West Motorsports Park in Sparks, NV. Unlike any other track that we race in this series, Lucas Oil Off Road did an amazing job designing and building this track and facility! It was a fast, wide open, track that included sweeping uphill turns, huge air jumps, and change in elevations that were awesome!

LOORS Round 11 & 12

The E 3 Spark Plugs Pro 4 of Jerry Daugherty had a few issues in practice on Thursday that kept the #23 from benefiting from open practice that was held. Due to this reason, Jerry and the #23 were determined to make the most of the practice sessions and qualifying efforts that were given to them on Friday. When the checkered flag dropped on qualifying, Jerry Daugherty had picked up over a second in time, and was posed in 10th position for Saturday's round of racing, and in 9th position for Sunday round.

Rounds 11 & 12 at the Wild West was an eventful one! Whether it was the high flying jumps or black flags, there was plenty of excitement for the crowds that attended. The track made for great side by side and even tree wide racing, and seem to bring out the aggressive manner in most of the competitors! A tangle between Jerry D and Corry Weller even earned Corry a black flag penalty! Jerry ran great races and in a solid manner, brought home a 6th place finish of Saturday and 5th place on Sunday!

The E3 Spark Plugs #23 Pro 4 of Jerry Daugherty is the only Pro 4 entry to date to complete all race laps of the entire season! Great job Jerry and the crew!

Patrick Clark Heads West With Guns Blazing!
Patrick Clark PRO-2 #5

LOORS ROUND 11 & 12

Patrick Clark came to the Wild West Motorsports Park with momentum and determination. He has seen the podium twice this year..........but yet to stand on top of the box! It is definitely the mission at hand. As practice and qualifying sessions came to a close, it seemed that Sunday's round 12 of racing might be his chance! Patrick would be on the pole for Sunday's Round 12 of racing!

Patrick and the #52 Pro 2 qualified 13th in Round 11 and he quickly found his way toward the front of the field. The battles in round 11 were epic and the field was full of black flags and attrition! While flying the jump into turn 4 near the end of the race, the #52 caught air and the truck was pushed into the air. Upon landing, the truck, and Patrick took a brutal hit. Although the General Tire #52 was in good condition, we couldn't' say so much for Patrick. Patrick suffered some minor neck injuries and was taken for examination on Saturday evening.

After careful consideration and discussion, it was decided that it was in the best interest to have a substitute driver take the wheel of the #52 for Sunday's race. R J Anderson graciously accepted our request and we thank him, and the entire Stronghold Motorsports Team for helping our team out! Due to this substitution, R J would be forced to start in the back of the field. He quickly made his way through the pack and set his sights on the front. A black flag incident with Robby Woods caused him to have issues and ultimately go a lap down. R J Anderson is one helluva racer, and he did not disappoint! He ran a remarkable race, and definitely made the team proud to have him in the #52!

Live Fast Play Dirty Motorsports welcomes Team Losi Racing and Horizon Hobby to a great partnership with Patrick Clark!

TUFF COUNTRY EZ RIDE SUSPENSIONS / MICKEY THOMPSON
AARON DAUGHERTY PRO LITE #23

LOORS ROUND 11 & 12

The Tuff Country #23 and Aaron Daugherty seemed to love the new track and facility that LOORS had provided for us! The scenery was beautiful, and it was a perfect weekend for racing! Aaron and the team have been working on the truck's set up and suspension, and now it was time to see how well it works! Aaron picked up speed and time as practice and qualifying sessions progressed. Overall taking a few seconds off of his lap times. Aaron's efforts earned him and the #23 Pro Lite a 19th place starting position for Saturday, and a 16th place starting posisition for Sunday. In a field of over 21 trucks, its an interesting race to watch! Aaron proved to be a fighter in the field and raced a strong, fast race! Several incidents had the capability of taking him out of the race, but he pushed through and gained the positions. He continues to move this program forward and brought home 10th place on Saturday, and 11th place on Sunday!
