As the series and their classes are just now 1 race weekend out from wrapping up the year and championships, the Stronghold team was fighting under the Las Vegas lights in rounds 13 & 14 to try and gain as many points as they could towards their possible championships.
Bailey has been running consistent all year and putting on great battles with those that have been racing in the Pro4 class for years. This race was no different. Bailey started Friday nights race in the seventh place position and immediately was running on the rear bumper of Barron. With a mistake by Barron, Bailey was able to pass and before Bailey knew it he would gain from others mistakes and found himself racing in fourth position. Bailey held off Barron for several laps, but going into turn 3, Bailey would be passed on the inside and slipped back to fifth. Not long after the truck would malfunction setting Bailey back more and would end up crossing the finish line in 7th place.
The team quickly got to work fixing the truck and preparing it for round 14 where Bailey qualified seventh as well. With wind cursing the Vegas Valley on Saturday, the race was postponed till after sunset and the Pro4 class would now be the last race of the weekend. Fans were up on their feet and ready as the trucks came roaring across the front stretch and into turn one. The championship contenders were racing for the lead and while they were trying to hold off each other, Bailey was attempting to put the pass on Barron and Todd LeDuc. As the race went on and passed the hald way point, the track started to dry out and soon trucks were going into the final turn in a cloud of dust. A wild race was still going on up front and Bailey was pushing hard to get to the point where he could chase down a podium. It was a quick race and as the last lap was in the books, Bailey would end his weekend with another 7th place finish in the #77 Loctite/Moapa Energy Pro4.
The hunt for a repeat championship was coming to the wire and under the Vegas lights last year is where Anderson wrapped up his chase for the title. Now the #1 Pro Lite Champion is attempting to repeat history, but can he make it happen?
With the second fastest time in qualifying and a minor inversion, Anderson positioned himself in the perfect spot to run away with a win. The green flag flew and it was Deegan who quickly ran away with the lead. Anderson completed lap one and was passing Creed and Fouch before coming into the last turn. Across the front stretch, Anderson was now gaining on Morris and Deegan, pushing his #1 Loanmart/Stronghold Pro Lite as hard as he could. Anderson would come around the chicane on lap two and into the final turn where he would make contact with the wall and would put Anderson on the roof. Fire broke out but Anderson was quick to the pull of the on-board fire-suppression system and quickly put out the flames. The Lucas Oil Safety Crew was on the scene and when the truck was put back on all four's, Anderson attempted to re-fire the truck to get back in the race. Luck would not be on his side and Anderson would be pulled off the course and his night quickly ended.
Round 13 was nothing short of action packed in the Pro Lite class and round 14 was already off to the same start. A rollover on turn one would have the rest of the field race to caution before picking back up behind the pace truck. This put Anderson in fourth position with Deegan just behind him. At the restart Deegan would fall behind leaving Anderson to battle with Creed. The two young guns would switch positions and pass Fishback coming out of turn four. Creed would then put the pass on Anderson and start the chase for leader, Morris. Anderson would not let Creed and Morris stay in front for long and on lap 13 Morris was rolled in turn two where Anderson and Creed would pass. Anderson would pull away and even with another full course caution, it would be Anderson who would come back strong and take home the win in round 14.
