Riverside, California (January 22, 2013) - Stronghold Motorsports was named "Team of the Year" while ProLite Champion, RJ Anderson received  "Driver of the Year" honors and Crew Chief Nick Griner was acknowledged as "Mechanic of the Year" at the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series 2012 Season Championship awards banquet  on Saturday, January 19th.  Anderson also collected his 2012 ProLite truck championship trophy along with the dubious award for "Crash of the Year" which recounted his spectacular impact with Casey Currie while charging for the lead in the Lucas Oil Challenge Cup season finale.

San Clemente, CA (January 18, 2013) The Desert Assassins hit pay dirt in Las Vegas winning the first World Championship event of the newly created series that combines SCORE and HDRA off road racing events into one overall title.

After word of the combined World Championship point series took the desert racing community by storm in late December the Desert Assassins made the decision to bring the #16 Monster Energy/Yokohama Tire Trophy Truck to round number 1. OCC Racing's Sheldon Creed Takes The 2012 SuperLite Championship Home at LOORRS Round 15 in Arizona

CORONA, CALIF., November 28, 2012 -At 15-years-old, Sheldon Creed is the the youngest competitor ever to win the SuperLite Championship title. This weekend at Firebird Raceway, Sheldon took to the track and with a fifth place finish, he was named the SuperLite Champion of 2012. Following the final round was the Lucas Oil Challenge Cup, a one-off money race for the class, which was no surprise when the checkered flag waved and it was the newly plated #1 A.M. Ortega SuperLite race truck of Sheldon Creed atop the podium. The team is looking forward to a promising 2013 year in the premier Pro Lite class.

Rob MacCachren came into the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) season finale with his back against the wall.  Third in points coming into the last race of the season after a disappointing weekend of racing in his hometown of Las Vegas, MacCachren was looking for every point possible.  He qualified first at Firebird International Raceway on Friday, putting him back on the third row for Saturday’s race after a three row inversion but gained valuable points in the process.

Without question, the Lucas Oil Challenge Cup race is billed as the most dramatic race of the season, and this year was no exception. The trick for winning the event is to make bold moves while avoiding all the drama – no small task, but it was exactly what Carl Renezeder did to get his name carved on the trophy for the second time in just four tries.
