E3 Spark Plugs
Jerry Daugherty Pro 4 #23

The stands and grounds were standing room only at Glen Helen Raceway this past weekend for Rounds 9 & 10 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series! Under the lights of the raceway, the racers and teams brought a great show to the fans!

LOORS Round 9

Night racing at Glen Helen brought a few changes to the normal schedule of things in the series for Rounds 9 & 10. Friday's qualifying effort was to be used in both Saturday and Sunday's rounds of racing with the inversion number drawn for each. Jerry Daugherty and the E3 Spark Plugs #23 Pro 4 started both races in 10th position. Saturday night's race was a jam packed with drama and antics as usual. Jerry ran a great race and battled hard with his fellow Pro 4 competitors. He found himself once again battling the beautiful Corry Weller! It seems that the two have magnets lately! Jerry had found himself fighting for 5th position when the competition yellow flag dropped. Jerry had a great re-start once the competition lap had finished. Unfortunately, the LOORS officials felt that Jerry had jumped the start. Jerry and the #23 were given the black flag and had to serve a penalty of stop and go through the hot pits. Jerry served the penalty and went back to the track to fight for what he could salvage. All in all, he did a great job and finished 6th!

LOORS Round 10

As Sunday morning rolled on, the teams and Drivers alike were thankful that the racing was scheduled for the evening! The sun of the California desert made for hot and muggy conditions. Once the sun went down it was beautiful! Jerry and the #23 Pro 4 made their way to attempt to hit the podium as his team mate, Patrick had done the night before! Starting in 10th, Jerry and the #23 ran a great race. 6th place earned him a strong standing in the points. It is evident that he is getting faster and progressing this Pro 4 program each week!

Patrick Clark Holds off Rob MacCachren to take 2nd!

LOORS ROUND 9

It seems that there is a buzz in the pits these days...................Who is this Patrick Clark? Where did he come from?

Patrick Clark may be a rookie in the Pro 2 class, but there is nothing "rookie" about his ability to drive a Pro 2! For those who questioned whether or not his podium finish in Round 7 was a fluke or beginners luck, Patrick put the questions to rest with an amazing show of talent in Round 9 of the LOORS Glen Helen event! Qualifying 7th on Friday, Patrick just missed the inversion as the number pulled was 6. Due to some technical issues, Rob Naughton was moved to the back of the field and this placed Patrick on the pole! Patrick knew that he had a great chance, but he had to keep out front. This would be difficult being that the guy next to him was none other than Marty Hart! Behind him? A field of veteran drivers that are lightning fast, coming after his position! Patrick ran a clean, fast, race of which consisted of a continual battle with Marty Hart and the constant pressure of Rob MacCachren an many more behind him. Patrick finished in 2nd Place! Congratulations to Patrick Clark and the whole Live Fast Play Dirty team!

LOORS ROUND 10 Coming off of a great round of racing on Saturday, Patrick Clark and the #52 were out to hunt down the top of the box! Starting in 7th, Patrick found himself in a constant battle. The racing was tough, and the racers were aggressive. Patrick held his line and gained ground as much as the track would allow. Engaging in full contact, and being turned in several turns by fellow drivers, Patrick did an unbelievable job keeping position and finishing in 7th. He is definitely looking forward to Reno in a few weeks to finish what he has started. If you are looking for Patrick Clark.................chances are you might find him on the podium!

TUFF COUNTRY EZ RIDE SUSPENSIONS PRO LITE #23 AARON DAUGHERTY

LOORS ROUND 9

The Aaron Daugherty Pro Lite #23 has continually worked to improve both track position and points position. It seems that the rounds of racing in Glen Helen agreed with this effort. The Tuff Country EZ Ride Suspensions/Mickey Thompson #23 has consistently improved both positions as rounds of racing progress. The Pro Lite field has consistently held unmatching numbers of entries throughout the 2012 season. With competitor numbers ranging from 22 to 27, this has proven to be one of the most competitive classes in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. Aaron has stepped up to the task of taking on each track with passion. Round 9 of the LOORS season was no different. Aaron began the pursuit on Saturday night in 22nd position. Battling through 22 of your closest (or not so close) friends, takes determination, focus, and a lot of patience. Patience had a tendency to run a little short as he pushed to the front of the field. He managed to make the Tuff Country/Suspension Connection Prolite as wide as possible and came through with a finishing position of 11th.

LOORS ROUND 10

Due to qualifying on Friday, the #23 of Aaron Daugherty started again in the 22nd position. Aaron is well versed in moving through the pack and he proved that on Sunday night under the lights of the Glen Helen Raceway! Aaron ran a great race and gained both respect and tenacity as Round 10 of the LOORS series moved closer to a close. The #23 ran great and the new truck gremlins seemed to be a past concern. Aaron Daugherty and the #23 finished 12 positions ahead of where they started, and finished top 10! The solid finish efforts seems to be moving him in the right direction in the points standings as well. Way to go Aaron and the team!
