The appeal of Chris Brandt and the Hart/Huntington-Premiere Motorsports Group was heard on December 1, 2009 at 11am in the offices of Lucas Oil Products, in Corona, California. All parties had representatives present and delivered written and oral argument to the Competition Review Board (CRB). The CRB deliberated in private and rendered an anonymous split vote decision. The Series Rule Book (page 14, Section 9-1) states “ A unanimous decision must be reached for the appeal to prevail. If this is not possible, the appeal fails.” Accordingly, the appeal failed and the disqualification of Chris Brandt from Round 12 stands.
