An agreement has been reached between GEICO Powersports and Lucas Oil Products Inc. making GEICO the presenting sponsor of the all new Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. This multi-year deal opens the doors to many new possibilities including but not limited to an expanded 2009 schedule and enhanced television coverage.

Lucas Oil is committed to this new venture and will make all of its managerial, marketing, television and financial resources available to ensure the long term success of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.

GEICO has already been a major partner with Lucas Oil Products with their involvement in Team Lucas, as well as their title sponsorship of Morgan Lucas's NHRA drag team and the EnduroCross Motorcycle series. This new deal solidifies the relationship between the two great organizations and will bring great things to the off-road community as GEICO is fully committed to the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.

The 2009 schedule is still being developed. Confirmed race dates as of this announcement are as follows:

* June 27-28 Lake Elsinore Motorsports Complex, Lake Elsinore, CA
* Aug 1-2 Lake Elsinore Motorsports Complex, Lake Elsinore, CA
* Oct 17-18 Speedworld Motorsports Park, Surprise, AZ
* Nov 14-15 Primm Valley Motorsports Complex, Primm, NV
